yellow top has small dark spots, purple skirt comes up the left side of her chest and is fastened with a bow, she has a yellow, green and purple ribbon tied into a bow on her right waist and three ribbon bands along the bottom of the skirt, shoes are purple and socks are white, dress has been trimmed at the neck but should have an elongated neck to allow it to slip under the chin of the doll hat is green with purple and yellow ribbon bows, (hat is missing)

On page 74 they discuss these four sets-ROSEY RUTH, DEAR DOROTHY, MERRY MARION, and SWEET ALICE. Sets that come in two different versions.This is the larger sized doll and series of dresses. The doll's head is separate but to be attached to the body so that the dresses slide under the chin and hair. There are no slits. They are marked with titles on the boxes but only identified as ARTISTIC SERIES on the backs of the dolls and dresses. Please note the two different spellings of ROSEY or ROSY RUTH.
