came in boxed sets of six animals each, one box is marked FATHER TUCK'S PATENT WALKING ANIMALS, SIX DIFFERENT MODELS OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS. MADE TO WALK AND MOVE IN LIFE-LIKE MANNER. ORIGINAL. AMUSING. INSTRUCTIVE. set includes COW, LAMB, DONKEY, RABBIT, DOG,and CAT. There would also seem to be a set of six wild animals. Items have the identical image on both sides, are designed to stand with a joint and a piece of string to make the legs move and the animal then moves forward. RAPHAEL TUCK & SONS LTD., LONDON.
