The plate is transfer printed and hand decorated in coloured enamels, and the illustration depicts a tailor cat seated with a garment on his lap whilst he is threading a needle. Measures 6 inches (15cm) in diameter. Marked to the base with the Paragon star mark and "PARAGON CHINA ENGLAND Tinker Tailor Series" This illustration comes from the Tinker Tailor book by Louis Wain first published in 1914 by Raphael Tuck.
