1947, CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL DANCE 1947, signed

Souvenir Programme from the Windsor Castle Royal Household Social Club Christmas Dance with entertainment by and Signatures of Peter Cavanagh, Ronald Chesney, Peter Brough and Archie Andrews. Peter Cavanagh 1914-1981 was a popular impressionist billed as 'The voice of the World'. Ronald Chesney 1920-2018 was a renowned Harmonica player who worked with Duke Ellington and Gracie Fields; later in his career he teamed up with Ronald Wolfe with whom he wrote the TV Show "On the Buses" and episodes of 'Allo Allo'. He also wrote TV Scripts for Peter Brough and his Ventriloquist dummy Archie Andrews. Peter Brough 1916-1999 started with Archie Andrews in the War where they filmed 'Mums the Word' and 'Pre Blitz Precautions' in 1943.Brough and Archie Andrews starred in "Educating Archie" on BBC Radio which had over 15million listeners and 'Here's Archie,' one of the first shows on ITV in 1956.
