This doll has two slots hidden in her hair to attach the tabs on the clothes through. The head is continuous with the body and does not comes separate to be pasted on. It is NOT part of the Artistic Series and is published in England. The same doll and dresses come as ARTISTIC SERIES 23 titled as DARLING GLADYS AND HER WARDROBE from the NEW SERIES OF DRESSING DOLLS-her head is separate and there are no slits. on the reverse is the title of the doll followed by the Tuck trademark easel and palette PUBLISHERS BY APPOINTMENT TO THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING AND QUEEN. doll, head is continuous with the body of the doll with two slits hidden in her hair to allow the tabs to slide through and fold over. she has long curly brown hair and faces slightly to her left, white pearl necklace and both arms hang down, she wears a blue and white undercoat slip with lace at the neck, sleeves, and hemline. she has a white ribbon tie at the waist, her stockings are blue and her shoes are black
